Training the unemployed youths of the country free of cost and providing them employment according to their merit, so that the number of unemployment in India can be reduced to a minimum.
Under this scheme, 40 crore unemployed people will be trained and given jobs in India by 2022. For this, a separate Ministry was formed which is now known as the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.
Through this scheme, by providing training for the youth of the country, they are made capable of jobs. With this, they are given appropriate jobs according to their ability.
In this scheme, training is given mainly to less educated and young people who quit their studies for some reason. Along with this, training is also given to those who have completed their studies or they are not getting jobs.
