What is UPSC Full Form
UPSC full form is Union Public Service Commission. It’s commonly abbreviated as UPSC the first central recruitment agency in India.
It is responsible for appointments and examinations for all Indian services and Central Service Groups A and B.
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is the prime agency for the competitive examination of the central government. UPSC was established on 1 October 1926.
It is an independent primer organization for the requirement of the employee and through this examination for hiring various staff and officers.
UPCS conducts only one kind of exam this exam is also known as the Civil Service Exam (CSE) and the main responsibility of this exam is to appoint all Indian services and Group A & B service employee.
After qualifying for the UPSC Entrance exam the candidate chooses the option between these i.e The Indian Administrative Service, Indian Police Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Revenue Service, etc.
It also conducts a national level exam under the central and state Government. In a year 9,00.000 to 10,00,000 candidates are applied for Civil Service Examination but approximately 550,000 candidates sit in the preliminary examination.
The result of this exam will declare in mid-August and the final result publishes in may next year.
This exam is conducted in two-stage, the first stage is the Preliminary Examination held every year in June and the result is announced in August.
The second is the Main Examination divided into two tests the first test is the examination that is held in October every year and the result publish next year in January and the second test is the personal test (Interview) is held in March and the final result announced in May.

Eligibility and Requirement for UPSC Examination?
The age limit of a candidate is between 21 to 32-year-old for General category candidates, for Other Backward Cast (OBC)age relaxation 3 years, For Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST).
Age relaxation is 5 years and for the person who is a defense service Personnel disabled in operations during hostilities, the age relaxation is 8 years.
A candidate to attempt one of the papers in the preliminary examination is counted as an attempt either the candidate canceled or disqualify. If the candidate applies to an exam but fails to attend then not counted as an attending.
UPSC can attend 6 times for a general candidate, for Other Backward Cast (OBC) categories can attend 9 times but For Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates can attend unlimited till 37 years of age.
A candidate must be a citizen of India and a citizen of Nepal or the subject of Bhutan. if the person who migrated from Sri Lanka, East African countries of Uganda, Kenya, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, the United Republic of Tanzania and etc the intention of setting his residence in India permanently then these candidates take eligible for the UPSC exam.
A candidate must have a degree from a central or state university and also receive a degree through correspondence or distance education.
If candidates have passed the final exam of the MBBS degree but have not completed an internship in this case these candidates are eligible.
